Continuing animation in Scratch

Bellwork:

Read about the principle squash and stretch in 3-D animation.

How can you illustrate this principle in FluxTime ?
Open FluxTime create a blank stage and add a circle to animate showing the squash and stretch principle.

You can also try to animate your name. Instead of typing your whole name at once type one letter and add it, then type the next letter and add it. Treat each letter as a separate object and animate each one.

If you want to save the results of your animation you can try and do a screencast-o-matic screencast.

After you experiment with this technique go back to Scratch and continue creating your dancing sprite.  You will do lesson 2 animating your sprite.

When you complete lesson two try to animate individual parts of the sprite. For example, the eyes, mouth, arms, legs.  Can you incorporate the squash and stretch technique?

Next go to the class website on the eett2 drive open the folder Shall we learn Scratch continue on to lesson 3 Adding Music(Dance to the beat) p21-24 and lesson 4 Creating a Music sprite pgs 25-32
