Bellwork:
Look at the scratch example project that I am working on. I have put in a background(created in paint editor), a main character (created in the paint editor), downloaded and added some free sound effects, added a series of sprites (some made in paint editor, some imported)
Think about your game. Yesterday you answered the question "Why did the ____cross the road?"
You will answer these four question in a story board. Each frame will answer a question:
1.What will your background look like?
2.What will your main character look like?(you may search clip art images to use as reference-but you must draw it yourself in paint editor)
3.What other things(sprites) will you have in your game? What will they do?
4.Why did the ___cross the road? This question will be answered in your win screen with a brief animation.
Here is an example of a remix I did. I added the win screen.
This course is designed to give students an overview of beginning concepts of computer programming in “Basic” computer language. The process of creating a video game(pre-production, production and post production) will be employed during this course. Gaming II is a continuation of Gaming I. Students will further develop computer programing skills to create their own video games.
