First you will save your Maze Game
1. Open your game in Scratch
2. File---->save as---->computer---->R:---->HESSE---->Scratch---->Period 4 or 5 or 6---->folder named-finalmaze
**Before hitting save, change the name of your game to your first name
You will take the Video Game design Exam first
Next you will take the Basic Engineering Exam
When you finish both exams you will finish your Maze Game.
When you finish your Maze game hit save and close (it will already be in the finalmaze folder)

Collaborative Brainstorming and Storyboarding your maze game
Bellwork:
Open your Computer Programming Concepts document and add the concept of the day
Synchronization-Broadcasting can coordinate the actions of multiple sprites.
Today:
You will work in pairs to brainstorm and storyboard your ideas for your preschool maze project.
1.You will collaboratively choose a Concept and Theme for your game.
Concept is what the player will learn.(color, shape, line, numbers, letters etc...)
Theme is where the game takes place.(Zoo, school, garden, library, beach, jungle, ocean, outer space, etc...)
2. In a word document titled Maze Game ideas you will collaboratively brainstorm your ideas by answering these questions:
a)What is your concept? How will you use your concept?
b)What is your theme? What images will you use in your theme?
c)What are the rules of the game?
d)What is the goal?
e)What happens if the player wins?
3. You will individually Create a storyboard showing:
a)The instruction screen (explain how the player will play the game and sketch
what the screen will look like. It should include images from your theme.)
b)Two levels of your maze (explain how the concept will fit into the maze. It should include images that depict your theme)
c)Win Screen (explain the goal. What happens when you win? What do you see/hear?)
4. Begin creating your maze game!
*Each person will create his/her own version of the game. You will collaborate by exchanging ideas, helping each other with artwork and scripting. Offer each other constructive feedback and encouragement when needed.
