Bellwork:
Although this is a very short story it still must be planned out on paper first. Open a word document. Title it Greeting Card Story Type a three to five sentence paragraph describing your story. 1. What happens when you first open the card? Is there music playing in the background? 2. What happens next? What is animated? What text appears and what does it say? 3. How does it end? What is the final image?
You will save this document and submit it to your class folder in the scratch folder. Save as Greeting in your folder on the eett2---HESSE---Scratch----your folder. This must be submitted today for credit.
Be prepared to read your Greeting card story to the class.
Today you will continue making your Animated Greeting card.
Your Greeting card must include:
1. At least one background (imported or created in the paint editor in Scratch)
2. At least two animated sprites (One must be the character you created in lesson 1 the other can be imported or created)
3. Background Music
4. Text-with your Greeting
To add music to the back ground of your card view this example that I made.
The music is placed in the stage script. Make note of the length of time the music plays to syncronize it with your animated sprite.
